Windows Live Hotspot Locator site goes live

The website, hotspot.live.com, is the support page of one component in the Live Wifi Suite we've been reporting on for the past couple days - the "Hotspot Locator". (This site currently doesn't include a Chinese version, but does include information about mainland China.) This site records a large amount of information about open and paid service Hotspots. Our friends in China have already begun registering hotspot information there, and all the information contained within can be visually represented through Virtual Earth. Once the database becomes large enough, this will be a very valuable website.
