Microsoft's instant messaging software, MSN, has finally launched its group service after being upgraded to Windows Live Messenger. Many of Microsoft's instant messaging users in China have started using QQ, because its competitor in the Chinese instant messaging market, QQ, owns the group service.

On August 21st, Winsoft and Microsoft released the group service. This service, known as "M Group", will become Windows Live Messenger's new weapon against QQ.
