Nonsense talk about Microsoft Vista

Microsoft always has some problems in its demonstrations. Yesterday, there was a joke about speech recognition. During the speech in Redmond, Microsoft staff demonstrated Vista's speech recognition system. To the audience's amazement, this demo was a 100% failure. Vista's speech recognition system completely ignored the staff member's instructions and made serious recognition errors.

The Microsoft staff member tried with extremely standard American English to get Vista to correctly recognize the pronunciation of the phrase "Dear Mom." However, Microsoft's Vista, which took five years to develop and cost billions of dollars, interpreted the staff member's efforts as "Dear aunt, let's set so double the killer delete select all" - we don't know what Vista meant by the second half of the sentence either. But it recognized "mom" (mother) as "aunt" (auntie).
