Running Ubuntu on the Nexus S

The Nexus S is the flagship device created by Samsung for Google, running on Google's Android 2.3 system. Previously, someone had ported MeeGo to the Nexus S, and now an enthusiast has also managed to get Ubuntu Linux running on the Nexus S. The method for running Ubuntu on the Nexus S is similar to how MeeGo was run on it. The Ubuntu image used is the HD2 Ubuntu image (version 0.3), which is the same image that was previously used to install Ubuntu on the HTC HD2.
