According to Thailand's "Bangkok Post" reported that the board of directors of Thailand's state-owned telecom company CAT Telecom said that Huawei will be severely punished for delaying the delivery of CDMA networks, and the fine will exceed the construction cost of the project of 7.1 billion baht (about 1.6 billion yuan). The board declined to disclose the amount of the fine now, saying it would be announced on Sept. 11. According to some CAT managers, the amount could be as much as 20 billion baht (about 5 billion yuan).
