The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has launched a Chinese-language website covering a wide range of topics, including energy efficiency, clean water and proper management of pesticides. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Chinese website is at www.epa.gov/chinese. The site is aimed primarily at Chinese-speaking communities in the United States and other parts of the world. The website is currently in traditional Chinese and will soon be available in simplified Chinese. The EPA says the new portal will help increase environmental cooperation between the United States and China. It is said that Chinese is the third most common language in the United States after English and Spanish.
