Us researchers create a realistic version of Transformers: self-healing and assembly

According to Live Science, NASA wants to have a Transformer-like robot. Initially, the robot was nothing more than 100 modular building blocks dropped into the desert by an airplane, which would be assembled into a robot rover when it landed.
