SkyDrive is part of Microsoft's Windows Live family of services that store, manage, and download files, photos, and favorites (a favorite website whose URL is saved on your computer or online server so you can access it quickly and easily) for free on Windows Live servers. SkyDrive offers users 25 GB of photo and file storage.
But Microsoft's SkyDrive service doesn't offer any client software. Although the SkyDrive service is good and the space is large, without the support of the client software, file management is very inconvenient, such as deleting photos, which can only be deleted one by one. Are MS product designers brainless? Microsoft has reportedly registered two SkyDrive-related domain names:
*Skydrivesync.com
*Syncskydrive.com
You can YY the meaning of these two domain names, is used for what. But there has been no movement from Microsoft. As a result, they had to use third-party software as the SkyDrive client. For example, Gladinet Cloud Desktop.
Gladinet Cloud Desktop can be downloaded here
After downloading and installing, enter the Settings screen:

You can choose a drive letter such as L, and set up a temporary file directory, and that's it. Now double-click to open the L drive:

From the figure above, we can see that Gladinet Cloud Desktop supports several online storage services. Today we're just going to look at Microsoft. Double-click to mount Windows Live SkyDrive. A window for logging in to SkyDrive is displayed.

Enter your Live ID and password to connect to your SkyDrive. Now the whole SkyDrive is just a folder under your L-drive. You can perform the same operation as your local hard drive. Data changes are stored on SkyDrive's servers.
Although not Microsoft's own East East, but Gladinet Cloud Desktop has a good implementation of the SkyDrive localization function, as a third-party product, seamless integration with the original service is impossible. Therefore, we still hope that Microsoft will continue to improve its own services, more market-oriented, and respect the wishes of users, and introduce better products.
