Let me first explain the concept. Currently, there are two mobile applications for Google Maps, and their differences are somewhat similar to the differences between maps.google.com and ditu.google.cn: one is the international version, which supports all functions. If it's a "Chinese version," it merely has a Chinese interface and does not include traffic maps of China. The other is the "China version" discussed in this article, which lacks satellite views and traffic maps of other countries. However, with the recent release of its 2.x new version, it now includes cell tower positioning and GPS support. Version 2.2.0 even added driving and public transit route searches, making it very powerful. When traveling, no matter where you're looking for, you just need to search, and it will automatically search from nearby locations, prioritizing closer results. Since I started using it, I've never had to ask for directions, haha.
