Google yesterday released a major update to its free 3D modeling software SketchUp 7 and SketchUp 7 Pro. As with previous versions, SketchUp 7 can be used to create any 3D model you want to design, but it provides simpler templates to control the size of the model, and also includes architectural design, Google Earth and product design templates.
After selecting a template, SkethUp will provide a relatively simple design page from which you can create squares, rectangles, bows, circles, lines, or draw models manually. The ICONS above the template are simple and easy to use, and the guidance window on the right can help beginners understand the use of each tool. Using it you will find that drawing 3D images is so easy.
In addition to drawing your own, you can also enrich your work by calling any 3D model from Google's 3D model library, where the number of models is huge, from people to buildings, you can easily find almost everything you need.
In SketchUp 7, Google has added many of the features found in SketchUp 7 Pro Pro, such as LayOut 2.0, support for vector rendering and many professional graphics features. And the addition of dynamic components, which is a very powerful new feature, it can be configured and redefined under a variety of limited conditions, similar to the parameter can be set components, giving the model the ability to automatically adjust, for example, when you design a staircase, when you make it larger or smaller, it will automatically increase or decrease the number of steps.
