Nokia launches a Bluetooth accessory for "mobile phone search"

According to the US technology media quoting a person with knowledge of the situation, Nokia is about to release an accessory for mobile phones named "Treasure-Tag" which can remind users if they have left something behind. It will also give a prompt when the user cannot find their phone.

Nokia will provide a circular belt for this sensor accessory that can be attached to keychains or important items to be monitored on a daily basis. This accessory uses Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC communication technology to communicate with Lumia phones, and it can be managed through a dedicated application to keep track of easily lost items.

It was reported that Nokia has developed an application for use in conjunction with the above mentioned accessory for Lumia phones. Once the item with the "Treasure-Tag" is lost, users can find the location of the lost item in the application. Nokia will also provide LiveSight augmented reality maps.
