Smart socks that can track motion data

Recently, an overseas startup team Heapsylon designed a pair of magical socks - Sensoria Smart Sock. It can provide accurate data for users to analyze their running skills, and it is also washable like normal socks.

The Sensoria Smart Sock looks the same as ordinary socks on the outside, but in fact, it is woven with soft textile sensors. These sensors can track the foot activity of users while they are running in real time and generate accurate data, providing a strong basis for users to analyze their own running skills.

The co-founder of the team, Davide Vigano, said: "It will become a truly wearable device in the future, rather than an extra electronic device that needs to be attached to your body. You won't always be aware of its existence because it is already an indispensable part of your daily life."

However, in fact, this product has not yet reached such a magical level at present. The technology it adopts is a textile technology developed by two former members of the Microsoft Xbox team. It needs to be used in conjunction with a magnetic ankle ring. The function of the ankle ring is to provide power and monitor acceleration and other information.
