Microsoft convened the World Partner Conference (WPC) in Toronto today, during which the CEO of Perceptive Pixel demonstrated this jumbo tablet during the opening keynote speech. This 82-inch tablet supports thousands of multi-touch input points.
Microsoft did not disclose the product's price or release date. Prior to being acquired by Microsoft, Perceptive Pixel sold its 82-inch tablets for $80,000 each. Ballmer stated that Microsoft is working hard to reduce the cost and price of Windows 8 devices so that more business users can afford them.
