Casio's gift to CES is a uniquely designed ultra-thin digital camera called TRYX, which adopts the "Variable Frame Design" concept. This allows users to customize their preferred grip style.
The TRYX is only 15mm thick, and its frame can rotate 360 degrees, while the LCD screen can rotate 270 degrees. It features a 12-megapixel 1/2.3-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a fixed-focus lens with an equivalent focal length of 21mm and F2.8 aperture, and a 3-inch 460k-dot (960x480) touch-screen LCD. The camera can also record 1080/30p MOV format HD videos.
It supports SD/SDHC/SDXC card expansion and HDMI output. The overall dimensions are 122x58x15mm, and it weighs 155g. Casio's TRYX will be available in the U.S. market in April this year, priced at $249.99.
