At the PyCon 2013 conference in March this year, the PSF gave each attendee a Raspberry Pi, a credit-card-sized microcomputer where you can use the Python programming language. The powerful functionality and portability of the Raspberry Pi has greatly attracted a large group of enthusiasts and students, sparking a great number of innovative ideas and products.
After generously giving out these gifts, the PSF contracted Caktus to help spur imagination of all kinds based on the Raspberry Pi. Thus, Raspberry IO is a website specifically provided for Raspberry Pi and Python enthusiasts, where people can learn and teach how to use the Python programming language on the Raspberry Pi.
We are also pleased to announce that Raspberry IO is also an open source project (Github). We have written a lot of tests and documentation to help you use this site.
