French artist makes insect sculptures out of trash

Many people think that garbage is useless stuff, but Edouard Martinet considers the insects he made from garbage metal to be absolutely perfect. This French artist creates astonishing works of art using parts from old bicycles and clocks, and he does so without using any welding at all.

Since he released his first piece three years ago, he has been very busy creating more and more metal insects. There are no weld points or seams in Edouard's work; instead, he opts to assemble them by hand. Can you imagine how long it must take to find the right place for each part? Therefore, it's not surprising that artists spend anywhere from a month to a year completing a single piece. The effort is worth it when you see the flawless appearance of these works.
