Thousand Gates Skyscraper

A public art piece by Korean installation artist Choi Jeong-Hwa involved installing 1,000 doors of all kinds and colors on the exterior wall of a 10-story building. Given the lack of additional information about this public art piece, such as its creative intent, I am inclined to believe that Choi Jeong-Hwa must be a profound master.

Who knows? Sometimes silence speaks louder than words, leaving us with infinite imaginative space. Perhaps it was created just for fun, or for beauty, or maybe for no reason at all. However, if you ask where it is, I know that when you wander through Seoul, South Korea, I guess you might see it on the next street; but then again, you may never encounter it, because in 2009, it was indeed somewhere in Seoul.
