Stereo Double Cross Tower | Good Life

The Istanbul Disaster Preparedness and Education Center is a work from the Portuguese architectural firm OODA. This facility will mainly be used to popularize disaster prevention knowledge and enhance the awareness of disaster prevention among the citizens of Istanbul. The geometric shape of the building appears as if two huge立体crosses intersect with each other, standing majestically amidst a natural landscape. The tilted axes integrate with the base landscape to form a cultural pattern of Turkey, connecting with the surrounding context. Moreover, the various functional spaces within the building are arranged on irregular floors, giving it a unique and interesting character.
