For the survivals of a shipwreck, the worst situation might be drifting alone. Except for clinging to a lifebuoy, one must also cast off fear and keep hope in mind all the time in the vast sea. If people huddle together, they can encourage each other and increase the chance of survival. A group of designers then upgrade the traditional lifebuoy and come up with the concept of Network Tube.
Individual units of the Network Tube can attract each other by magnetic attachment to form a network-style floating cluster. The built-in GPS allows rescuers to locate it more quickly. This design has successfully become one of the finalists of Spark Awards.
