The great fire in Vancouver Canada in 1886 is still fresh in the memory of many people. An artist from Montreal used a high-definition projector to stage a realistic scene of an "on-fire" old house on a four-storey garret in the oldest block in East Vancouver. The scene looked strikingly realistic whether viewed from afar or up close.
The artist hopes to remind people in this special way to be vigilant against fire and prevent the disaster from happening again.
