What attracts people to this interior design is actually the portrait of Mao Zedong, but that's not the main point. Originally, this was an old attic built in Madrid, Spain at the beginning of the 20th century. Designer Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez carried out extensive renovations on it, transforming it into a multi-leveled, multi-compartment white residence. A large amount of ceramic decoration was used in the interior decor. The entire space utilizes a mezzanine design with varying levels and directions, ensuring that all different functional areas of the interior are interconnected. However, due to the designer's precise handling of the stairs and intermediate mezzanine sections within the overall design, each functional area is effectively separated. The entire design is very flexible and versatile.
