Korean media have once again revealed that the development of the iWatch is going smoothly. Apple has prepared three plans with screen sizes of 1.3 inches, 1.4 inches, and 1.5 inches. Currently, the engineering model of the 1.5-inch iWatch has been released.
Moreover, it was claimed that these three iWatch prototypes would all be equipped with flexible OLED screens (the screen supplier could possibly be LG?). Current indications suggest that Apple will launch a smartwatch next year (previously, Apple aggressively registered the iWatch trademark).
It was reported that the iWatch would offer calling functions and also include maps, pedometer, and health metrics sensors. Meanwhile, it could display emails, IMs, and other data by connecting to a smartphone. Previous reports indicated that this device would run on the iOS system (reengineered) with a battery life of 4-5 days.
