Google has released the Chinese version of Google Trends.

July 31, 2006, Beijing - Google announced today that the Chinese version of Google Trends has officially gone online. Google Trends is an application product based on search log analysis that Google launched in May this year, and this time it is launching its Chinese version. Google Trends displays the most popular keywords in a graphical manner and also shows the historical trends of various search keywords since 2004, along with related Chinese news reports.

However, compared to the English version, the Chinese version obviously lacks sufficient search volume, and many searches result in situations where charts cannot be displayed. (via Engadget)
