A mushroom that feeds on animals

The strange mushroom was found in a forest near Hanau, Germany, and Wolfgang Bivour says it's a rare octopus mushroom. It secretes mucus and attracts insects such as flies by smelling of rotting flesh. Just like the pitcher plants, they feed on animals.
