Hurun collects all publicly available information on candidates and cross-checks it, ultimately using market value to assess the wealth entrepreneurs own. There are four main sources of our information: first, all important Chinese and foreign media reports; The second is stock market announcements, including domestic and Hong Kong main boards, GEM, Singapore, Nasdaq, New York, Toronto, London and Sydney stock markets; The third is field interviews, where our team travels all over the country, interviewing entrepreneurs, journalists and local government agencies and attending relevant seminars; The fourth is the effective information network and huge database that we have built up throughout the country over the past nine years.
