3D reconstruction of the Old Summer Palace

People often say: Greece has the Parthenon, Egypt has the pyramids, Rome has the Colosseum, Paris has the Notre Dame Cathedral, the east has the Old Summer Palace. But this amazing masterpiece of the Old Summer Palace is only presented to us in ruins. When it was restored using 3D mapping, it became clear that we had lost more than just a few tiles.
