Bing New Year Gift: Free download of one legal song

In order to thank users for their support of Bing, Microsoft America is giving away free legitimate music downloads as the New Year approaches. This event also aims to promote the Bing Music channel. Microsoft stated that each user can apply to receive a legitimate music download worth $1.29, limited to 500,000 participants. Users can apply before 11:59 PM Pacific Time on December 31st.

The specific method is to submit your email address on the event page to obtain an activation code for the free music download. After obtaining it, follow the instructions to choose and download a song you want. The obtained music download activation code must be used before January 24, 2011. If the downloaded song has its own set expiration date, then that date will apply.
