Meghalaya, India is located in the tropical rainforest and its annual precipitation exceeds 15 meters. If a bridge is built with wood, it will rot very quickly. So the locals came up with "planting bridges", using the mutual entanglement of tree roots to form the natural bridge with unique scenery. However, this is a patience - testing project as it takes 5 - 10 years to build each bridge. After completion, it can bear the weight of 50 adults. It's truly a wonderful nature.
