Apple releases the winning works of the 2013 iPhone Photography Awards.

Today, Apple released the winning entries of the 2013 iPhone Photography Awards (IPPA). In addition to the grand prize winner (shown in the image below), Apple also showcased excellent works from various categories including animals, architecture, children, flowers, food, landscapes, lifestyle, nature, news/events, people, seasons, still life, sunsets, and travel.

The perfect combination of light and shadow becomes, through the eyes that can discover beauty, one piece of wonderful photographic art after another. Among the works selected for the iPhone Photography Awards, the majority were chosen because they captured light and shadow perfectly. The ability to discover and capture beauty does not depend on whether you have especially expensive equipment; an iPhone paired with the appropriate application will suffice. The use of photography apps like Hipstamatic is permitted, but over-processed photos will be ignored by the judges.
