Weekend Charm: Once Again, the Cherry Blossoms Bloom

Trees blossoming and flowers blooming, it means that spring is in the season, which means we can spend more time walking outdoors to enjoy the warm sunshine and clear weather. To celebrate and welcome the arrival of spring, Washington has a very popular National Cherry Blossom Festival. Thousands of tourists will come here during this festival to admire the splendid cherry blossoms. The lens of New York photographer Navid Baraty shows us some natural beauty of this festival.

This year also marks the 100th anniversary of Japan's gift of cherry trees to Washington. If you are lucky enough to travel to Washington during this two-week festival, you will see many celebratory activities such as parades, fireworks shows, kite festivals and outdoor plays.
