TIME’s photography issue has selected the best pictures of the year.

In March 2012, one year had passed since the birth of the fine photography section "Lightbox" of the American TIME Magazine. To celebrate its first anniversary, "Lightbox" specially invited many editors to select what they considered the best photos of the past year and commented on them.
The interrogation photo series was taken in 2010.
Deputy editor Feifei Sun (phonetic translation) said: "At the very first sight of this photo series, I was immediately deeply attracted by these photos. They ruthlessly revealed how power and corruption play out in these countries."
