Creative composite photos, the same face - Micro Miracle Life

Using PS to play cut-and-paste is nothing new, it usually involves putting Person A's body together with Person B's head. But what if we take things from left to right? Canadian photographer Ulric Collette took the left side of the face of one family member and the right side of another, such as with twins, etc., and put them together. The result clearly looks like one person - will this kind of family photo become a trend?
