In June 2010, a team of scientists expedition came to the deep of Nyiragongo crater. As the heart of the Great Lakes region of the African continent, there are boiling lava lakes everywhere here.
The scientists on this expedition team have the same dream: to walk across the largest lava lake in the world. Their dreams may come from their childhood. The movie "Devil's Impact" released in 1960 made many people crazy. It is the first film to show the magnificent lava lake of Nyiragongo crater to the public.
