100 Hours of Astronomy: The International Year of Astronomy

According to the British "New Scientist" magazine website reported that in order to celebrate the 2009 International Year of astronomy, astronomers from many countries around the world held an event called "100 hours of astronomy" in early April this year. As part of the event, the organizers displayed a collection of beautiful photographs of the universe, including shots of the strange "cosmic Hand" and the "Cigar Galaxy."
